Carmen Günther is one of my close friends, and I am delighted to have her on my blog. She is one of the cool person to travel with you. We been to so many places and wandered around. I still remember the best trip when we planned a trip to THE SHEIKH ZAYED GRAND MOSQUE.

Carmen, Tell me about your Travel Journey.

Mediterranean Sea

I started to work on a cruise almost two years ago. I visited so many countries and cities that I never dreamed of I have ever could. I started at the Mediterranean Sea, where I ride a jet ski in my break. After the Mediterranean Sea we went to orient- it is a very inspiring destination with so many lovely and friendly people and a lot of stunning sights.

Caribbean

My next contract started in the Caribbean. My first time out was in Honduras, where we went to a small animal park where I was holding a cute sloth, and after I was on the bluest beach I have ever seen and this every day in a different country.

The northern part of Europe

After the Caribbean we went to the northern part of Europe, and I fell in love with Iceland, the nature is unbelievable beautiful and also the big city Reykjavík has so many sights and right places where you could have a drink or good food. One of my highlights was Spitzbergen, where polar bears live.

We went to a husky farm, and this was one of the best as you very barely see animals during a ship tour even you can cuddle with them.

Helsinki

My third contract started in Eastern Europe, my most immense love there in Helsinki, where I had the best salmon toast ever at the old Market Hall, and we discovered the city by e-scooters.

New York

After we went to unique New York with stops in Canada. New York, I think there is nothing more to say, one of the craziest cities ever! During this tour, I also visited the NASA Centre after this day I am interested in rockets!

We saw crocodiles in Miami directly on a parking space, that was a bit scary. One of the stops was Nassau, Bahamas, which I always thought a bit more beautiful as it is. I am sorry to disappoint you as everyone want to fly to the Bahamas. I celebrated my birthday on the Turks and Caicos Islands where the sand is whiter than your wall is!

One of the stops was Martinique, with the most famous botanical gardens in the Caribbean. It is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. It is on the top of the island with views over the rainforest. After we went to Cartagena, Columbia- I swear I will come back one day!

These colours and fruit and architecture are unique! The best of my cruise ship experience is that I met my boyfriend and we are living together in Munich now :)
