Pisa is well connected to the World, and you can use different transportation like Rail, air, road or by sea (if you are coming with a cruise ship)
First, let me tell you about how to reach Pisa by air. The closest Airport from the city is Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport, which is 6.1 km far from the city, and you can hire a cab from the Airport, and you can reach in 15 minutes. The Airport is well connected to national and international flights.
The second Option is by RailRail, and the closest railway station is close to the city, and the name is San Rossore Station, and the distance is 1.7 km. However, the central station is Pisa Centrale Station and is well connected to Italy’s other European city.
Pisa Centrale Station is 4.8 km far from the center of the town. Leaning Tower of Pisa is near San Rossore Station, and you can use this Railway Station to reach the Leaning Tower of Pisa Easily. Florence and Pisa are well connected to the railway system, and you have 40 trains link both cities. It will be one hour journey from Florance to Pisa by Rail.
The third option is by road, and you can explore the area by car or bus. Experience the beauty of Tuscany by car, and you can enjoy the sceneries of the region. The roads are excellent condition and make your road trip memorable.
You can drive to Florance and Rome by car, and in Italy, you can find a lot of car rental services. A bus is also an option if you want to save some bucks because it’s not expensive and the buses are very comfortable.
The Compagnia Pisana Trasporti (CPT) is the bus service that you can find all over Italy. You can take this bus service from anywhere in Italy to reach Pisa.
The last option will be a cruise ship, and a lot of people also visit Pisa Italy with a cruise ship. The cruise port name is Livorno.

Hostels are the best to stay when traveling; however, Pisa doesn’t have many hostels. Off-season, you pay around 18 to 22 Euro per night for 4 to 6-bed dorm rooms. It can be around 35 to 40 Euro in the High season. A private room will be as expensive as 45 to 70 Euro depends on the season.
Hotels are also a bit expensive, and it can cost you around 35 to 40 Euros each night for a room with a private bathroom.
Check Airbnb for a good deal, and you can find a shared room starting from 17 to 20 Euros per night. Apartments start around 45 Euro per night, but prices depend on the season to better check on the website.
Cost of food in Pisa – Food is expensive as Pisa is a tourist place. You can also search for a meal for around 15 Euro a day. Italy is famous for wine also, and the restaurant serves wine, and it will cost around 25 to 30 Euros per person.
You want to eat near the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and you have to add around 15 Euro Extra to the regular price. Fast food is also an option, and it will cost you around 10 Euro for a value meal. You can also go for Pizza as you are in Italy and it will cost you around 5 to 6 euros.

When you are next to the Leaning Tower Of Pisa, you will find some ice cream shops and buy and taste some ice-cream while watching the Tower. I always do this as it feels so lovely.
You can be creative with Leaning Tower of Pisa like I tried here. Opposite Pisa tower is shops, and some shops sell Ice cream. You can ask them for the only cone of the ice cream that will cost you around 2 euros as I paid in 2019.

While walking around the city, you will gonna find some fantastic artists by the roadside. The art they do is fantastic, and you can buy one for your memory, and it will help the artist.
Take a day trip to Lucca.
Most of the people while coming to Pisa. They visit just for half-day then what else is often more beautiful than visiting Lucca, a gorgeous village which will be reached from Pisa by train in 25 minutes. Explore some medieval buildings and feel the atmosphere of the town.

Here are some straightforward rules to assist you.
